SAN ANTONIO — A structural pest control continuing education class will be held from 8:15 a.m.–12:45 p.m. on Dec. 2 by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service in Bexar County.
The class will be in Suite 208 of the AgriLife Extension office, located in Conroy Square office complex at 3355 Cherry Ridge Dr. in northwest San Antonio.
“This class is for people with structural pest control licenses who need continuing education units toward the renewal of that license,” said Molly Keck, AgriLife Extension integrated pest management specialist, Bexar County.
Keck added that those licensed in “pest” and/or “termite” will be able to receive all their continuing education units for the year by attending this training.
Topics will include termite identification tips, new laws and rodenticides, common landscape pests and their management, and common pest ants.
The class provides four continuing education units — two in general, one in termite and one in pest.
Registration is $60 and includes a light breakfast and snacks. Payment is by check only upon arrival, and checks should be made out to: Texas AgriLife Extension Service.
For more information or to RSVP, contact Keck at 210-476-6575 or mekeck@ag.tamu.edu.
