MULESHOE – The Llano Estacado Crops Conference conducted by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service in Bailey County is slated from 9 a.m.-noon March 5 in the AgriLife Extension office, 118 West Ave. C in Muleshoe.
“This year’s conference targets grain sorghum, sunflowers and other cropping options,” said Curtis Preston, AgriLife Extension agent in Bailey County. “Topics will also include hybrid selection, weed management, irrigation management and other production issues. Information on new Environmental Protection Agency regulations will also be presented.”
Three Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units will be offered.
