MULESHOE — The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service staff in Bailey County will conduct a Feed Grain Marketing Workshop beginning at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 23 at the AgriLife Extension office in Bailey County, 118 West Ave. C, in Muleshoe.

Curtis Preston, AgriLife Extension agent in Bailey County, said that in light of the current grain market volatility, feed grain marketing strategies will be even more important for producers on the High Plains for the 2013 crop year. The workshop will cover current market conditions and the potential of marketing the 2013 crop.

Dr. Mark Welch, AgriLife Extension economist at College Station, will conduct the meeting via “distance technology.”

Registration is $10 at the door. For more information, contact Preston at 806-272-4583.
