BRONTE – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office in Coke County will conduct an oil and gas leasing program for landowners beginning at 6 p.m. Nov. 20 in the Bronte Community Center.
“Interest in leasing land for oil and gas exploration is at an all time-high in our area now,” said James Jackson, AgriLife Extension agent in Coke County. “Judon Fambrough with the Texas A&M Real Estate Center will be our keynote speaker. He has a strong background on this topic and is very familiar with our part of the state as well as the oil boom we are now experiencing.
“Landowners who have been approached about leasing, or those just wanting to know what their rights are, should make it a point to attend this special program.”
Individual preregistration is $12 by Nov. 16 and $15 thereafter.
To preregister or for more information, call the AgriLife Extension office in Coke County at 325-453-2461.
