STERLING CITY – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office in Sterling County will conduct a home water efficiency and xeriscape program beginning at 6:30 p.m. April 23 at the Sterling County Community Center in Sterling City.

“With spring upon us and dry weather continuing across our region, the time is right for homeowners to start planning on how best to use our limited water supply,” said Chad Coburn, AgriLife Extension agent in Sterling County.

“Allison Watkins, AgriLife Extension horticulture agent in Tom Green County, will conduct the program. She’ll focus on minimal water use while still maintaining an attractive landscape.”

Individual registration is $10. Those interested in attending must RSVP to the AgriLife Extension office in Sterling County at 325-378-3181 by April 19.
