COLLEGE STATION — The Texas 4-H and Youth Development Program will present a 4-H Leadership LIVE! webcast on leadership development starting at 7 p.m. May 13 for 4-H youth, parents, volunteers and others interested in enhancing their leadership skills.
The theme for this event is Women in Leadership, and the live webcast can be accessed at http://texas4-h.tamu.edu/leadershiplive. There is no charge for webcast participation, but participants are requested to register at the website in advance of the event.
“4-H is a community of young people across the state and nation who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills,” said Courtney Dodd, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service program specialist, 4-H and youth development, College Station. “This event will provide an opportunity for 4-H members and others to expand their leadership abilities by interactive participation with three women who are serving in leadership roles in their employment, community and/or industry.”
Dodd said featured speakers for the interactive webcast will be Rachel Cutrer, president and creative director for Ranch House Designs, Inc.; Dr. Randi Boleman, registered dietitian and assistant director for school nutrition services, Bryan Independent School District; and Debbie Schronk, chief operating officer for the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo and Texas 4-H Foundation trustee.
Further information on the speakers may be found on the Leadership LIVE website, she added.
To interact with speakers during the webcast, participants may submit questions and comments through Twitter using hash tags #leadershiplive4h and @texas4h.
