AUSTIN — The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will offer a structural and agricultural continuing education course for pesticide applicator license holders from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. March 26 at its office at 1600-B Smith Road in Austin.
“This course will provide continuing education units for license holders with the Structural Pest Control Service and/or those with a private applicator’s license from the Texas Department of Agriculture,” said Wizzie Brown, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service entomologist for Travis County.
Brown said five structural continuing education units will be offered. There will be two general units – one in safety and one in integrated pest management – plus one unit each in termite, pest, and lawn and ornamental.
Five agricultural units will also be offered — one in integrated pest management and four in the general category. Three of the four general category units will be in pest features and one will be in safety.
