DALLAS — Individuals and industry professionals are invited to attend Rainwater University 2015, scheduled for April 7-9 at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center in Dallas, 17360 Coit Road.

“Our participants run the gamut of rainwater harvesting and emerge from the course with a comprehensive understanding of the latest industry trends and technologies,” said Karen Sanders, Urban Water Program assistant in Dallas. “This three-day series represents one of the most complete offerings of rainwater harvesting instruction in the world, and we only offer it once a year.”
The course includes instruction on: estimating the size and demands or change it to sizes and demands of collection systems, system sanitation and operation, harvesting air conditioning condensate, building codes, sustainable detention pond design, rain gardens, green roofing, low-impact development and a host of other topics. Meals and refreshments will be served.
The three-day series offers continuing education units for members of the Texas Floodplain Management Association and the Texas Nursery and Landscape Association.
