SAN ANTONIO – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will hold the “Rain Barrel Workshop” from 9 a.m.-noon April 4 at the William R. Sinkin Eco Centro, 1802 N. Main Ave. near San Antonio College.
The program will be presented by experts from AgriLife Extension and the Bexar County Master Gardener program.
“A rain barrel is a container that collects and stores water when you need it most,” said Troy Luepke, AgriLife Extension water program coordinator for Bexar County. “You conserve water and benefit your plants and garden.”
Luepke said attendees can make and take home their own rain barrel from this workshop.
The program costs $50 and seating is limited to the first 30 people who RSVP and pay. RSVP to Angel Torres at the AgriLife Extension office for Bexar County by March 30 at 210-467-6575 or matorres@ag.tamu.edu.
