Why – The Food Security Education Partnership, a collaboration of Texas A&M AgriLife, Purdue University and The Ohio State University, received a U.S. Department of Agriculture-Higher Education Challenge grant to develop a set of unique and multidisciplinary courses on “Food Security Educational Partnership: The Intersection of Sustainability, Hunger, Nutrition and Health.” One of its goals is to bring awareness of the impending food crisis worldwide so that solutions can be found.
