BRENHAM – The Northern 4-H Academy will host Road Map to Success with 4-H from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 29 at the Blinn College Student Center, 902 College Ave. in Brenham.
Texas 4-H is the youth component of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
Attendees will learn how to join and become familiar with 4-H projects, as well as other learning opportunities. Dr. Chris Boleman, Texas 4-H program director at College Station, will lead a program on Raising a 4-H Family. A session on developing skills in leadership and teamwork for 4-H members is also scheduled featuring 4-H council officers from the area.
Following a catered lunch, an open house will be held from 1-3 p.m. featuring exhibit booths with example projects. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day.
