MILLERSVIEW – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s long-running Concho/McCulloch County Wheat Tour is slated for May 5 in Millersview.

Five Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units–one laws and regulations, one drift management, one integrated pest management and two general — will be offered. Credits will be awarded only for the hours attended.
“Even with some pest and disease problems around, climatic conditions are such that if they continue on their positive track we should have a very good wheat crop this year,” Dickschat said. “We always have a good crowd at this event, and I expect this year will be no different. We have a great slate of speakers with a good mix of topics which should make for a worthwhile program for those in the wheat business.”
