ROBERT LEE – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will conduct the Spring Forward-Get Ready to Grow gardening program on April 28 in Robert Lee.
The program, which lasts from 6-8 p.m., will be in the Robert Lee Community Center, 150 County Park Rd., said Morgan Runyan, AgriLife Extension agent in Coke County. Individual registration is $5 due upon arrival.
The featured speaker will be Allison Watkins, AgriLife Extension horticulturist in Tom Green County.
“This program will help answer our gardeners’ questions on bed preparation, planting dates, vegetable varieties that are best adapted for our area and general care of your vegetable garden,” Runyan said. “This will also be a great opportunity to get those hard questions answered on a variety of topics early in the growing season.”
