BRECKENRIDGE – A Ranch Management and CEU Seminar has been set for Dec. 9 by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Stephens County.
The meeting will open with a fajita lunch at noon followed by the seminar from 12:30-3:30 p.m. in Room 103 of Texas State Technical College, 307 N. Breckenridge Ave. in Breckenridge.
“We invite everyone to come out and eat some lunch while learning new range
management practices and new updates over chemical and herbicide use, said Justin Givens, AgriLife Extension agricultural and natural resources agent in Stephens County.
Those planning to attend should RSVP to the AgriLife Extension office at 254-559-5513 to preregister and guarantee a seat. The registration fee is $30, and seating is limited to 30.
Three Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units will be offered to private pesticide applicators.
Guest speakers will include James Jackson, AgriLife Extension range specialist in Stephenville; Ralph Porter, Dow AgroSciences sales representative from Abilene; and Tony Baeza, U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resource Conservation Service representative in Breckenridge.
