Steve is about as West Texas as you can get. He has lived in San Angelo since 1964. He holds two degrees from Angelo State University, a bachelor's in journalism and a master's in animal science. Steve has been communications specialist with the Texas AgriLife Extension Service in San Angelo since 1982. His territory has gradually expanded over the years until it now stretches over some 70 counties in AgriLife Extension Districts 2, 6, 7 and 10, Texas AgriLife Research in San Angelo, Lubbock and the wildlife and fisheries sciences department at Texas A&M University.
