SWEETWATER – Oil and gas leasing will be the topic of discussion during a Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service meeting set for 6 p.m. Nov. 19 on the third floor of the Nolan County Courthouse in Sweetwater.
“Heightened activity in the ‘oil patch’ here is the chief topic of a lot of conversations these days,” said Zach Wilcox, AgriLife Extension agent in Nolan County.
“Those conversations often lead to questions from landowners unfamiliar with the business, so to help answer some of those, we’ve asked Judon Fambrough with the Texas A&M Real Estate Center in College Station to be our keynote speaker,” Wilcox said.
Wilcox said Fambrough is very familiar with West Texas real estate and the oil and gas industry, plus is an accomplished speaker, so the program “would be a good one to catch for anyone interested in learning more about oil and gas leasing.”
Individual registration is $10 payable at the door.
