CORPUS CHRISTI – A fall continuing education conference for regional farmers is scheduled from 8 a.m. -2: 45 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center in Corpus Christi.
“This program provides producers a great opportunity to hear the latest in pest management as well as sprayer application practices,” said Bobby McCool, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service agent for San Patricio County. “We will also have updates on pesticide laws and regulations.”
Cost is $20 and includes lunch. Preregistration by Oct. 22 is required by calling 361-364-6234 or 361-767-5223. The following are topics and speakers:

-Pesticide Laws and Regulations Update, Brent Batchelor, AgriLife Extension agent for Matagorda County.
Six Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units and five certified crop adviser continuing education units will be offered.
