LAMESA– The Southern Mesa Agricultural Conference, conducted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Dawson County, is scheduled for 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Forrest Park Community Center, 814 S. Houston Ave. in Lamesa.
“The conference will hit on topics vital to cotton producers in the High Plains,” said Gary Roschetzky, AgriLife Extension agent in Dawson County. “Our goal is to provide informative ideas about cotton management and issues surrounding that industry.”
Individual preregistration is $40 by Jan. 20 and $50 thereafter, and includes lunch.
Six Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units — three general, two integrated pest management and one laws and regulations — will be offered.
