LUBBOCK – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will conduct the Sheep and Goat Management Workshop on July 29 at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Lubbock.
The center is 3 miles north of Lubbock International Airport on East Farm-to-Market Road 1294.
The day opens with registration at 9:30 a.m. followed by the program from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
“Dr. Frank Craddock, AgriLife Extension state sheep and goat specialist at San Angelo, will be our keynote speaker,” said Robert Scott, AgriLife Extension agent in Lubbock County. “This will be an excellent opportunity for anyone new to sheep and goat production to learn from one of our agency’s top professionals. Likewise, the curriculum will also offer the old pro a chance to brush up on what’s new within the industry.”
Craddock’s speaking points will include presentations on health, nutrition, general management, reproduction and marketing.
Individual registration due upon arrival is $15 and will include light snacks.
