BOERNE – The Backyard Basics program of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will present a Composting 101 and Butterfly Gardening workshop on Feb. 11 at the Patrick Heath Public Library, 451 N. Main St. in Boerne.
The workshop, which begins at noon, is free and open to the public.
“If you’re interested in having your own backyard compost for your garden, this seminar will show you how to get started,” said Steven Zoeller, AgriLife Extension agent for agriculture and natural resources, Kendall County. “And as a bonus, we’ll discuss butterfly gardening, including some of the plant materials best suited to attract butterflies.”
