CANYON – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Randall County will conduct a private applicators license training on June 14.
The training will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 12:30 p.m. at the Kuhlman Extension Center, 200 N. Brown Road in Canyon.
The cost will be $10 per participant payable at the door. Those planning to attend need to RSVP by 5 p.m. June 12 by calling the AgriLife Extension office in Randall County at 806-468-5543.
Dr. J. D. Ragland, AgriLife Extension agriculture and natural resources agent in Randall County, said those planning to attend must order and bring the required training handbook: “Using Pesticides Private Applicators Manual.” This manual will be used as a reference for the training.
The manual can be ordered by calling 979-845-1099 or going to http://agrilife.org/aes/manual-order-forms/. The manual cost is $40 and is payable by credit card.
“Again you must have this manual on hand, and bring it with you the day of the training,” Ragland stressed. “It can take several days to get the manual shipped, so don’t wait to order it.”
For more information, call Ragland at the Randall County office.
