FORT STOCKTON – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will conduct the Pesticide Management and CEU Workshop from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Pecos County Civic Center, 1674 Airport Drive, Fort Stockton.
“Our agency has made this a district-wide event, because it’s been so well-attended over the past several years,” said Raymond Quigg, AgriLife Extension agent in Upton County. “The workshop offers participants a chance to hear some top speakers while earning Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units.”
The Texas Department of Agriculture units for private and non-commercial applicators offered will be one unit each in the general, integrated pest management, laws and regulations, and drift minimization categories. The two structural CEUs offered for commercial applicators will be one each in the laws and regulations and integrated pest management categories.
Individual registration is $35. RSVP by Nov. 28 to the AgriLife Extension office in Upton County at 432-693-2313.

- Laws and Regulations, Cory Pence, Texas Department of Agriculture, San Angelo.
- Structural and Alfalfa Integrated Pest Management, Dr. Charles Allen, AgriLife Extension entomologist, San Angelo.
- General Range Herbicides, Dr. Morgan Russell, AgriLife Extension range specialist, San Angelo.
- Herbicides and Insecticides in the Landscape, Jeff Floyd, AgriLife Extension horticulturist, Ector County.
