BRADY — The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will conduct a private applicator training June 20 at the agency’s McCulloch County office, 114 W. Main St. in Brady.
Registration is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. with the training to follow at 8 a.m.
Cost is $40 per person. Light snacks will be provided. Those planning to attend must register by calling the AgriLife Extension office in McCulloch County at 325-597-1295 by June 15, so adequate training materials can be ordered.
“It should be noted this course is not offering continuing education units, only the training to get a pesticide license,” said Justin Klinksiek, AgriLife Extension agent in McCulloch County. “A private applicators license allows individuals to purchase restricted use and state-limited use pesticides for use on their own property.”
