LEMING – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service offices in Atascosa, Frio and Wilson counties will present the multi-county 2018 Seed Cotton Provision Workshop on July 26.
The program will be from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the AgriLife Extension office for Atascosa County, 25 E. 5th Street in Leming. The cost is $15 and lunch is included.
“This workshop is about the seed cotton provision of the Bipartisan Budget Act that established seed cotton as a covered commodity, allowing cotton farmers to receive assistance when prices are low,” said Bryan Davis, AgriLife Extension agent, Wilson County.

Dr. Rob Hogan, AgriLife Extension economist, Uvalde, will present on the Bipartisan Budget Act. Davis and Dale Rankin, AgriLife Extension agent, Atascosa County, will present on laws and regulations for private applicators.
