SEYMOUR – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host the second annual Rolling Plains Sheep and Goat University Aug. 9 at the Cliff Styles Activity Center, 1205 Archer Road, Seymour.
“We are excited to offer this information to the growing number of producers in our region,” said Josh Kouns, AgriLife Extension agriculture and natural resources agent for Baylor County.
The program will begin at 1 p.m., and a $10 fee will be due at the door. It will include presentations on:
– Predator control.
– Flock health – parasite control and vaccination program.
– Marketing techniques.
There will be separate discussion panels for sheep and goats.
The program will include an evening meal provided by Central Texas Farm Credit and Capital Farm Credit.
