GEORGETOWN — The Williamson County Pecan Food Show is an opportunity for any county resident who wants to make delicious pecan dishes and compete for “bragging rights” to the best pecan food item in the county, said Chelsea Stevens, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service family and community health agent, Williamson County

She said each entry will be judged for taste, texture, appearance and uniformity, and recipes and entries will be checked for use of pecans.

“Winners will be posted immediately after the judging is completed and awards will be given to each item immediately after judging is complete,” Stevens said.
