FLORESVILLE – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Guadalupe County Master Gardeners and Wilson County Library will present the South Texas Home, Garden and Environment Show March 2 at the Floresville Event Center, 600 Highway 97 W., Floresville.
The show will be from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
Event activities will include do-it-yourself lectures, children’s crafts, a silent auction, plant giveaway, Master Gardener Pepper Fest and rose display.
Do-it-yourself classes will be from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and will include the following activities to be presented by the participating organizations:

Recycled Robot, Wilson County Library.

Growing Microgreens, Guadalupe County Master Gardeners.

Container Gardening, Guadalupe County Master Gardeners.

WeDo LEGO- Robotics Build, Wilson County Library.

Backyard Composting, Guadalupe County Master Gardeners.

Rainwater Collection and How to Make a Rain Barrel, AgriLife Extension.
More than 50 area vendors will be represented at the show.
“This show will have something for both young people and adults,” said Bryan Davis, AgriLife Extension agriculture and natural resources agent, Wilson County. “There will be a variety of fun and educational hands-on activities everyone can enjoy.”
