PLAINVIEW — The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Hale County is hosting a Texas Community Futures Forum on April 30 from 6-8 p.m. The event will be at the Ollie Liner Center, 2000 S. Columbia St., Plainview.
The general public is invited to participate, but those planning to attend should RSVP to the AgriLife Extension office in Hale County at 806-291-5270 by April 29. There will be a light meal served in advance of the forum at 5:30 p.m.
“The outcome of this event will be a prioritized list of actions that our residents believe could help make things better for our families, our businesses and our community,” said Cathy Banda, AgriLife Extension office manager, Hale County.
“We invite everyone to partner with us in our efforts to improve our community. Everyone’s ideas are important and we encourage everyone to participate.”
Representatives of local organizations who cannot participate are welcome to send members to attend, said Banda.
This is one of a series of county forums held statewide by AgriLife Extension offices to gauge each community’s needs and priorities moving forward.
