AgriLife Extension webinar to cover Texas pesticide laws, regulations on July 11

COLLEGE STATION – Texas pesticide laws and regulations will be the topic of the July 11 natural resources webinar hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service ecosystem science and management unit.

The webinar is part of the Texas Range Webinar Series scheduled the first Thursday of each month from noon to 1 p.m., said Pete Flores, AgriLife Extension webinar coordinator in Corpus Christi. This webinar is being held the second Thursday due to the July 4 holiday.

Dr. Mark Matocha, AgriLife Extension agricultural and environmental safety specialist, College Station, will cover state and federal laws that impact private, commercial and noncommercial licensed applicators.

One Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education unit in laws and regulations will be offered, Flores said.
