Crop tour, golf scramble set Sept. 24 in Big Spring

BIG SPRING — The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is holding a free crop tour and the first Cotton Boll Golf Scramble on Sept. 24 in Big Spring.

“We wanted a fun and unique approach that would allow area cotton producers a chance to not only participate in the crop tour and hear from experts, but also to learn from fellow producers and have the opportunity to socialize as well,” said Tommy Yeater, AgriLife Extension agent for Howard County.

The event, lunch and golf scramble are free for crop tour participants.  To register and for more information, contact Yeater at 432-264-2236, 432-466-3131 or
