BAY CITY — The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office in Matagorda County will host a Fruit and Nut Production Management Program at the Wharton County Junior College campus, 4000 Ave. F, Bay City.
The speaker will be Stephen Janak, AgriLife Extension program specialist, and the program will cover variety selection, fall and winter management and starting orchards. Two Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units will be available, one general and one integrated pest management.
Registration begins at 5:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 6 p.m. The cost will be $20.
